Designing new fullerene derivatives as electron transporting materials for efficient perovskite solar cells with improved moisture resistance

A new fullerene derivative (C5-NCMA) is introduced as (ETM for) planar p-i-n (PVSCs). C5-NCMA features a higher LUMO energy level and higher ability of self-assembly. Power conversion efficiency of 17.6% was achieved. The stability of (PVSCs) to moisture is enhanced due to the hydrophobic C5-NCMA.
