Ding-Zhi-Xiao-Wan (DZXW) is an antidepressant used in traditional Chinese medicine.
A UPLC-Q-TOF-MSE method was developed to analyse the constituents of DZXW.
The metabolites of DZXW in normal and depressive rats were investigated firstly.
Eighty-eight compounds were identified in DZXW; three were potentially novel.
DZXW constituents involved in antidepressant effects were identified in CUMS rats.
