2D-alumina platelets enhance mechanical and abrasion properties of PA612 via interfacial hydrogen-bond interactions

High-performance PA612 composites with enhanced mechanical and abrasion properties were prepared.

Adding 30 wt% of Al2O3 platelets increases the tensile strength and elastic modulus of PA612 by 55% and 128%, respectively.

The specific wear rate of PA612 is able to be reduced by around 61%.
