Mixed perovskite precursors with the nominal compositions of La2NiO4, LaNiO3, La2Ni0.5Fe0.5O4 and LaNi0.5Fe0.5O3 were prepared by a wet impregnation method.

LaNixFe1-xO3 phase enhances the metal-support interaction and suppresses the agglomeration of small Ni particles.

A stable Ni-based catalyst with high carbon resistance for dry reforming of methane is obtained through the LaNi0.5Fe0.5O3 precursor.
