We study transient convection cooling during drop impact on cooling film flow. Heat transfer coefficient shows three steps change during drop impact. Enhancement of convection is studied for varied drop and film flow conditions. Local maximum enhancement may decrease with increasing drop velocity. Peak enhancement is correlated to the ratio of drop impact to film flow.
