This study assessed association between LEPR polymorphisms and T2DM among diverse populations. 22 individual studies conducted from 2000 to 2015 worldwide with 31,260 controls and 25,560 cases were included. The results suggest that only Pro1019Pro polymorphism was associated with T2DM risk.
