He continued his research career as a postdoctoral scholar in Dr. Lei Fang’s group at Texas A&M University, where he worked on ladder-type conjugated molecules. Yang became an assistant professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Guangdong University of Technology in October 2016. Yang’s main research interest involves π-functional materials, especially large conjugated systems for optical and electronic applications.
