Thermocapillary effect on the transition of Cz flow modes was numerically studied. The prevailing mechanism of the transition found to depend on the stability of thermal stratification. The time period of oscillatory is decreased in the presence of Marangoni forces. The amplitude of thermal fluctuation reaches its largest values when the baroclinic instability is the dominant mechanism.
