Three longitudinal transducers are used to construct a linear piezoelectric actuator. The maximum speed and thrust force of the prototype are 1563 mm/s and 158.2 N. Coupling bending vibrations are generated in the horizontal transducers. The vibration coupling problem is solved under a suitable temporal shift. This piezoelectric actuator can be used in linear motion platform for direct driving.
