We present a global adaptive control approach for uncertain nonaffine nonlinear systems with unknown hysteresis input.

The design obstacles arising from the nonaffine structures and unknown hysteresis nonlinearity are removed by fusing a novel backstepping approach and the solution properties of hysteresis model.

The efficiency of the proposed controllers is demonstrated through two simulation examples.
