Hydrothermal synthesis and photoluminescence properties of BaZr1?xTixO3 hollow nanospheres

BaZr1?xTixO3 hollow nanospheres with [x=0.05, 0.10, 0.15, 0.20 and 0.25] were synthesized by the hydrothermal method. The variations of the structure and lattice parameters were studied by means of X-ray diffraction analyses. The crystal parameters were negatively related to the doping content. TEM observations confirmed the only hollow nanospheres with a mean particle size of 140 nm. These hollow nanospheres exhibit blue light emissions at 493 nm when exited by 403 nm laser at room temperature. The photoluminescence intensity gradually decreased as Ti doping content increased.
