The octahedral Fe3O4 particles are synthesized in the α-Propylene glycol solution. The magnetization increases with the increase of the test temperature, and the maximum is at 120 K. The octahedral Fe3O4 shows a ferromagnetic property at room temperature. Ms, Mr  , Mr/MsMr/Ms and Hc decrease with the increase of the test temperature.
