3D-CFD coupled chemical kinetic modeling of CNG fueled HCCI engine was validated with experiments. Numerous engine operation conditions were examined numerically. CA50 occurred around 5 CA, aTDC resulted optimum IMEP and ISFC in constant fuel quantity cases. Crank angle related to highest rate of OH radical (CA-maxOH1) reflects CA50 with high accuracy.
