A clear burst and continuous growth of ultrafine particles occurred during biomass burning episode. Organics and black carbon (BC) were dominant in the biomass-burning aerosols, accounting for 60 ± 10% and 18 ± 3% of PM1. The κ values of biomass burning aerosols converged to 0.1 and did not show high variability.
