U–Pb dating analysis implies an Early Paleozoic magmatic event in the Yunkai domain. Lu–Hf isotopic data of the Early Paleozoic granites indicate there is no input of mantle sources. The intraplate orogeny model for the Early Paleozoic tectono-magmatic event is well supported by new data and evidence.
