The potential of using nanocomposites in a hemodialysis membrane is presented.

PES/PCA-g-MWCNTs MMM porosity and hydrophilicity are enhanced.

Separation performance of PES/PCA-g-MWCNTs MMM is improved.

Flux recovery ratio of PES/PCA-g-MWCNTs MMM is considerably increased.

Antifouling property of the MMM fabricated is far more suitable for hemodialysis.
