Mn<sub>2sub>O<sub>3sub>–TiO<sub>2sub> composite photoanode thin films were fabricated from <strong class="boldFont">(1)strong> by AAACVD.
Topographical study of photoanode was performed by field emission gun-scanning electron microscopic and atomic force microscopy.
Optical band gaps of as-grown Mn<sub>2sub>O<sub>3sub>–TiO<sub>2sub> photoanode were also investigated.
An anodic photocurrent density of 1.3 mA/cm<sup>2sup> at 0.7 V was estimated for the Mn<sub>2sub>O<sub>3sub>–TiO<sub>2sub> thin film fabricated at 500 °C.
