Synthesis and characterization of co-crystalline zeolite composite of LSX/A

Suggest the ratio of KOH/SiO2 = 1 in the synthesis gel of LSX to develop the co-crystalline zeolite composite (Na/K)-LSX/A. The composite has hierarchical structure with high pore volume of 0.27 cm3/g. The composite has higher structural transformation temperature at 963 °C. Prove of hierarchical structure throughout the crystal of the composite using TEM of cross-section of the crystal. The composite is an effective adsorbent for copper(II) ions adsorption with high uptake capacity of 2.36 mmol/g or 150 mg/g.
