Three new heteronuclear sandwich-type complexes have been synthesized. They were synthesized by an innovative “pH-controllable degradation approach”. Complexes 1 and 3 exhibit catalytic activities for electrocatalytic reduction of nitrate. Complexes 1–3 demonstrated unusual magnetic properties.
