The microwires with nominal composition of Ni46Mn24Ga22Co4Cu4 were prepared by Taylor-Ulitovsky method. Wiedemann effect of as-drawn microwires was investigated and a maximum twist of 1244 ″/cm was obtained under a periodically circular magnetic field Hc (4.3 Oe) and an axial magnetic field Ha = 26 Oe. By eliminating the heat effects on microwires, the pure magnetic-field-induced twist (MFIT) was explored and a maximum MFIT of 234 ″/cm was found under another periodically magnetic field Hc (10 Oe). The relationship between diameters of microwires and the twist was also investigated.
