Iron (II, III) oxide/multi-walled carbon nanotube composite as solid-phase extraction sorbent followed by ultra-high performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry for simultaneous determination of zearalenone and type A trichothecenes in Salviae miltiorrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Danshen)
Fe3O4/MWCNT composite was synthesized and used as the SPE sorbent. SPE was proposed for clean-up of mycotoxins in TCM Danshen. UHPLC–MS/MS detection combined with SPE procedure provided a rapid determination. Desirable levels of sensitivity, recovery and precision were achieved.
