Activation of dopamine D1 receptors suppresses outward K+ current in rat RGCs.

SKF81297 mainly suppresses the Gb- and 4-AP-sensitive current components.

The SKF81297 effect is mediated by cAMP/PKA and CaMKII signaling pathways.

PKC and MAPK/ERK signaling pathways are not involved in the SKF81297 effect.
