The FY-3B/MWRI soil moisture product is evaluated on the central Tibetan Plateau (TP). A BP-NN algorithm is developed to reconstruct the FY-3B/MWRI soil moisture product. The reconstruction algorithm is applied to generate daily soil moisture in 2012 over the TP.
