Pebax 1657 was modified by 3-Di-n-butyl-2-mthylimidazolium chloride (DnBMCl). ZIF-8 particles were synthesized with different molar ratios of MeIM/Zn2+. New interactions between DnBMCl-Pebax 1657 and ZIF-8 was observed. Superior CO2/CH4 and CO2/N2 selectivities were observed for modified MMMs at 2 bar. Increase in pressure lead to deterioration of MMMs performance due to plasticization.
