ACEs are associated with depression severity. AAs had lower depression at low to moderate levels of ACEs than EAs. But AAs and EAs had comparable levels of depression with severe exposure to ACEs. High and medium levels of resilience mitigated the impact of ACEs on depressive symptoms in young adults.
