Long-term wave energy resource evaluation on both spatial and location basis was performed. Inter-annual variability of wave power is lowest with 18% in middle Black Sea region of Turkey. Areas having highest and lowest values of average wave power potential have low variability. Primary priority region for energy extraction is location BR and its surrounding areas. Waters of moderate wave heights and wave energy periods have high annual wave power concentration.
