XDA-1 and NKA-II had similar adsorption behavior of phenolics from olive waste. Adsorption process was fitted to Pseudo second-order and Freundlich model. The physical adsorption process was spontaneous and exothermic. Antioxidant-related phenolic compounds were enriched by gradient elution. The compositions of phenolics were determined by the RP-HPLC-DAD.
