Removal of phenol, bisphenol A, and 4-tert-butylphenol from synthetic landfill leachate by vertical flow constructed wetlands
文摘
Phenol, BPA, and 4-t-BP were removed efficiently in vertical flow CWs. Adsorption is the initial removal process for the phenolic compounds. Subsequent biodegradation is the major removal process for the phenolic compounds. Plant presence is beneficial for microbial degradation of BPA and 4-t-BP. The removal of BPA and 4-t-BP were also affected by leachate composition and HRT.
