We analyzed the impact of early-life famine exposure on obesity and obesitymax (obese at the highest weight) in adulthood. Fetal/infant, childhood and adolescence exposed all had higher risks of obesity and obesitymax than the unexposed. Enough nutrition during early life appears to be beneficial to later health.
