Nitrogen-doped reduced graphene oxide as electrode material for high rate supercapacitors

N-reduced graphene oxides were obtained by hydrothermal route using graphene oxide. Amitrole was used as N-dopant. Very high nitrogen amounts of 10.9–13.4 at.% were introduced to the graphenes. N-rGO-180 exhibited a high capacitance value and superior cycling stability. Excellent rate capability of 98% was achieved in a wide scan range.
