Sustainable and bioactive material was prepared via cellulose dialdehyde modification with SPI. Cellulose grafted SPI initiates rods-like hydroxyl apatite nanocrystals mineralization. The cytotoxicity results presented the current material as bio compatible and cost effective candidate for biomaterials.
