Soft synthesis of Bi–TiO2 and Bi–N–TiO2 nanoparticles revealed superior photocatalytic properties under visible light spectra.

A comprehensive analytical study for AR-85 dye degradation along with a systematic mechanistic approach has been proposed for the Bi–TiO2 and Bi–N–TiO2 nanocomposites.

The synthesized photocatalysts exhibited high degree of matrix inference tolerance, durability and reusability for photolysis studies.
