Non-farm work participation and future food poverty examined in the study. Used an instrumental variable method to treat endogeneity of non-farm work. Vulnerability of food poverty assessed with an FGLS model using data from Ghana. Future food poverty is affected by both non-farm work and current food poverty. Recommend business-friendly policies; boost resilience of food poor households.
