B. bassiana induce BmGlv2 expression at transcriptional and translational levels. BmGlv2 protein was successfully expressed in E. coli and purified. The polyclonal antibody against BmGlv2 protein was successfully prepared. BmGlv2 has synergistic antifungal effect with BmCecA to BbHN6 in vitro and vivo. BmGlv2 plays important roles in silkworm innate defense against fungal infection.
