Spatial examination and number of pecks reliably predicted exploration in OFT. Individual exploration performances were correlated in line with fast-slow continuum. Essential to use additional tests to measure personality traits in the OFT. To assess behaviour in the OFT behavioural syndromes should be taken into account.
