ssCipA lacked two domains of cohesin 6 and cohesin 7 in CipA.

Cellulosome using ssCipA decreased cellulose hydrolysis ability.

CelJ was identified as the exclusively omitted subunit in cellulosome with ssCipA.

Adequate cooperation of CelJ to cellulosome is important for cellulose hydrolysis.
