Community-based aquaculture of Acropora nasuta and Seriatopora caliendrum is technically feasible and environmentally safe. Simple, small-scale and low-cost techniques are profitable and suitable to fishing communities with satisfactory results. Aquarium shops and coral reef conservation NGOs constitute the appropriate clients for small-scale coral farming.
