We study the effects of instrumental artifacts on TQF spectra for spin I = 3/2.

TQF spectra are determined via simulation of the spin density matrix evolution.

Considering finite pulse width effects, a weaker RF power is preferred.

An inhomogeneous RF field results in a reduction in the TQF signals.

RF transients cause either a variation in intensity or a distortion in line-shape.
