Static and dynamic tensile tests were done to get sensitivity of GFRP failure data to strain rate. One-parametric orthotropic media failure model was developed to predict ballistic curve of GFRP under indenter impact. Microstructural 3D-model was constructed to include all visible failure modes of layered ballistically loaded GFRP.
