Temperature-dependent electrical conductivity is studied for AC–MO nanocomposites.
Nanocomposites are prepared by wet impregnation and heating at 200 or 850 °C.
The decrease in conductivity for the nanocomposites depends on several factors.
AC and all the nanocomposites behave as extrinsic semiconductors.
Supported MO nanoparticles introduce trap energy levels along the band gap of AC.
