Bioactive compounds can be added to galactomannan-based films maintaining their main structure. Bioactive compounds promoted significant variations on the filmś physicochemical properties. The incorporation of the bioactive compounds increased the films’ stiffness. Galactomannan-based films with Lf can be tested as a candidate for wound dressing. Galactomannan films with Lowpept® and Lowcol® can be used as alternative for solid dosage forms.
