(La1−xSrx)0.98MnO3 perovskite with A-site deficiencies toward oxygen reduction reaction in aluminum-air batteries

The strontium doped (La1−xSrx)0.98MnO3 with A-site deficiencies were synthesized. Mn valence and Oads species of the LSM can be manipulated by Sr doping. The LSM30 catalyst showed the highest ORR catalytic activity. The Pmax of the Al-air battery with 50%LSM30/C reach 191.3 mW cm−2.
