Compounds 1–4 exhibit the novel 3D sandwich-shaped supramolecular architectures. The luminescence lifetimes of 1 and 3 are 906 μs, and 726 μs, respectively. The fluorescent quantum yield of compound 1 is 29.9%. Compound 3 has selectively detection for nitrobenzene molecule and Fe3+ ions.
