A 100 g.L−1 slurry of N. gaditana was submitted to protein biorefinery. A biorefinery process was tested to disrupt the cell wall and filtrate the samples. High-pressure homogenization was more efficient than enzymatic treatment. The filtration process was more efficient after enzymatic treatment. Increasing the cut off of the membrane does not improve the filtration process. The mathematical model corresponded to the experimental data of filtration.
