Cambrian paleogeography of the Sino-Korean block (SKB) is controversial.
We investigated detrital zircon U–Pb ages from the SE part of the SKB.
Locally-sourced zircons are present in the Neoproterozoic–earliest Cambrian strata.
The late early Cambrian strata contain East Gondwana-derived detrital zircons.
In Cambrian the SKB was connected with the northern margin of East Gondwana.
