Room-temperature saturation magnetization of Mo2C-containing cermets decreased towards zero at x = 8 for y = 20 and x ≥ 6 for y = 40. At x = 8, Curie temperature of Mo2C-containing cermets was about 50 K for y = 20 and 116 K for y = 40, respectively. Room-temperature saturation magnetization of WC-containing cermets was significantly higher than zero, regardless of x and y. The strong suppression magnetization effect of Mo2C was mainly attributed to its high solubility in binder phase of cermets.
