Synthesis, characterization and electrical studies of solid polymer electrolyte (1 − x) PANI-KAg4I5·xAl2O3

(1 − x) PANI-KAg4I5·xAl2O3 is prepared by solid state reaction method. Electrical conductivity varies with the concentration of alumina. The composition x = 0.4 is found to have the maximum conductivity and minimum activation energy, i.e. 0.14 eV. The maximum conductivity is in the order of 10−1 S cm−1. Structure of the composite is confirmed by XRD, DTA, SEM and impedance spectroscopy.
