The induction and role of Th1-like Treg cells in Th2-type condition remain unclear. Diosgenin attenuated food allergy and augmented Th1 and Treg immune responses. Diosgenin induces intestinal Th1-like Treg cells in mice with food allergy. Diosgenin enhances Th1-like Treg cells migration via Th1-type chemokine network. Th1-like Treg cells may play a role in diosgenin-mediated anti-allergic effects.
