La0.8K0.2Co1-yMnyO3 catalysts are prepared for soot combustion and presulfurization. La0.8K0.2Co0.7Mn0.3O3 catalyst is optimal for soot combustion. Catalytic activity weakens after presulfurization. La2(SO4)3 and K2SO4 deposit on the surface of catalyst. The degeneration of O2− and O2− leads to poor activity after presulfurization.
