Optimization lighting layout based on gene density improved genetic algorithm for indoor visible light communications

A gene density genetic algorithm (GDGA) is proposed to optimize the LED layout. Gene density-based segmented crossover and gene mutation strategy is put forward. A weighted differences function is designed to select the right LED lamps' layout. Two stopping criterias, iterations and unchanged iteration of best individual, are set.
